Our red wines

We at Cantina Agricola Veronese have been producing Cabernet and Celsus Merlot from our vineyards for generations. Veneto, as is known, is one of the best Italian regions for wine production. This is due to its territory that extends from the Po Valley to the Alps, reaching the Carso and Lake Garda. The naturalistic richness of Veneto translates into a truly unique wine production, which comes from the soil particularly rich in mineral substances.


These are the characteristics that give life to the production of two of our most requested wines: Cabernet and Celsus Merlot. The red wine owes its natural color to the skins of the grapes that, in contact with the must, infuse the wine with its typical red color accompanied by a truly unique taste.   • Cabernet Franc Doc

    The Cabernet Veneto produced by our Cantina Agricola Veronese is a very intense and slightly garnet red wine.

    The flavour is pleasant and characteristic, dry and sweet, reminiscent of blueberry and raspberry.

    This wine pairs well with roasts in general, cured meats, tasty vegetables, stewed meat and game.

  • Our Celsus Merlot Veneto

    Celsus Merlot Veneto is a red wine with an intense ruby color and a pleasant aroma reminiscent of berries, including blackcurrant and blueberry.

    Merlot is one of the most widespread grapes in Italy, and its Celsus variant is easily recognizable due to its dry and aromatic flavor, which is well suited to dishes such as roast white and red meat, tasty vegetables, stewed meat, pasta and beans.

  • Carobeo

    Bordeaux blend wine (30% Merlot 70% Cabernet), Carobèo is a full-bodied and structured wine, intense with a complex bouquet of aromas.

    For this reason, being a typology with evident and elegant tannins, it will be particularly suitable to accompany meat-based dishes in preparations of considerable succulence, such as grilled ribs, roasts.

    It is recommended to use glasses with ample light and generous dimensions to allow the colours and aromas of the wine to express themselves at their best.
